WINPL 2020 Call For Speakers - ***NOW CLOSED***
This call for speakers serves to identify speakers for the 2020 WINPL Conference on May 27th or 28th, 2020 (location and date to be confirmed soon!)
The WINPL Conference is excited to provide an exceptional learning experience rich in innovative ideas and solutions for our 400+ women leaders and aspiring leaders in the nonprofit community of Philadelphia. You can learn more about this annual event by checking out our Highlights page for prior year conference info.
The Program Committee will consider speakers who submit completed RFP’s and applicants may submit proposals for up to two topics.
Presentation topics
We seek presenters who share cutting-edge ideas, inspire enlightening discussions and convey the fundamentals for growing our participants’ leadership and professional skills. Hot Topics are identified based on our survey, success of past events, timeliness, and relevance of topics to industry professionals.

Networking: Connecting with a Purpose
speaker responsibilities
Provide high quality and engaging educational presentations complete with strategies and insights that can be immediately put to use.
Engage attendees through audience participation and discussion.
Provide a head shot, speaker biography, title, 3-4 sentence program description and three learner outcomes. These items will be used for marketing purposes.
Room layout preference and basic AV needs.
Ensure the session is not perceived as an infomercial (NO SELLING ALLOWED).
Promote your participation in the event using social media outlets.
how to submit
Deadline for submission is midnight, Friday, November 15, 2019. Please complete the survey to submit your information and proposed topic details to the Program Committee for consideration, to include the following:
Bio (approximately 600 words or less) describing your credentials for speaking on this subject (academic, business, experience, professional training)A proposed descriptive blurb (approximately 150 words or less) which may be used on the website and other conference promotions.
Three Learning Outcomes
A brief outline of your presentation, including presentation style and format. Please describe what the audience will be doing during your program and how they will be involved and engaged with your content.
Will you have a co-presenter? (if yes, please list name, title, org and contact info for each)
A recent headshot
Room layout preference
Basic AV needs
Do you require an honorarium/travel reimbursement? If so, how much?
Two references for prior speaking engagements that we may contact (name, company, title, telephone number, event title and date, and email address)
